A now "deceased" website on RSS marketing and RSS publishing - a look at the history of internet marketing
Get your RSS case study or success story on an upcoming radio show on RSS.
MarketinfProfs just published an updated version of my 7-Step RSS Marketing Plan article ... and achieved some great exposure in the blogosphere. The fun part is that the article is actually getting exposure from sources that otherwise totally ignore me:)
Here's one of the most comprehensive resources on helping Katrina victims.
There are many things I don't understand about our world. Watching the media today, I don't understand why New Orleans mayor has to be pleading for help for the hurricane victims. I don't understand how human beings can kill one another and steal from one another in such crisis, even stopping the rescue efforts. And I don't understand, why they cannot be stopped ...
''From a marketing-relevant standpoint, your book blows the other out of the water ...''
''I'm having a hard time putting your book down (I printed it out) and thanks to you, I'm not sleeping as much as I need to because every line I read gets more and more ideas running through my mind as how to employ RSS for doing business online!''
This one will cover the business case for RSS, and it is free to attend.
I'm doing two RSS teleseminars with Annie Jennings, one tomorrow and one next Tuesday: RSS Marketing Step-by-Step and RSS SEO Step-by-Step. Sign up for free today ...
MarketingSherpa.com calls 'Unleash the Marketing and Publishing Power of RSS' the best comprehensive report on RSS ...
I'm doing a teleseminar on RSS for the Guerrilla Marketing Association on May 4th. The call is free for Guerilla Marketing Association members, but Roger agreed that I can invite the readers of this blog as well. Check out some other teleseminars as well ...
We just finished the teleseminar with Annie Jennings, and it was really wonderful. Now, Annie did give me a great introduction, but I do need to add that I'm just one of the people that are trying to best teach others how to take best advantage of this channel, and just one of the people considering its various marketing implications.
Annie Jennings recently invited me to do a free teleminar on RSS for her famous teleminar series. This is the teleseminar to attend if you want to find out how to market with RSS, plus Annie is giving every free attendant a copy of her publicity CD: 'Get Booked On Huge Nationally Syndicated & High Powered Radio Shows'.
'Man, you have left no stone unturned with this one-of-a-kind manuscript. Unless someone has been on another planet vacationing the last year or so, they have heard about the power of RSS and what it means to the future of content distribution and communications.'
Being trashed for your international work in your own country always feels good. Being trashed for your marketing insights by a programmer feels even better. And having your work trashed by someone who hasn't even seen it (doing the trashin' based on your sales letter) makes you feel even better. And it's even better to have your work trashed by someone falling under all three of the above criteria, while your work is praised by the leading international people in the industry. [Update 2005-03-28]
App. 36 blogs on a national level, app. 2-6 companies publishing content via RSS, and probably not more than 100-500 RSS end-users. Call us crazy, but we still did a seminar on RSS. I'm just wondering if this was the first seminar ever (in the world) dedicated almost exclusively to RSS?
I'm noticing that quoting me out of context has become quite a small trend among technology news sites. To set the record straight: I never stated that e-mail marketing doesn't work anymore. Quite on the contrary: e-mail marketing still works, but it is burdened with delivery, security and credibility issues. Furthermore, I never suggested anyone replace e-mail marketing with RSS, but actually emphasized in my book that RSS and e-mail should be used together, giving concrete tactics on how to do it best.
One of the most rewarding things of writing a book is getting positive feedback from the people that matter the most: your readers and industry leaders. And it's especially rewarding when one of the comments you receive is from someone like Dick Costolo, the CEO of Feedburner, one of the key RSS companies in the world today.
Rok, What you did is not fair! You've left everyone else nothing more on the subject of RSS to write about. Now I understand why Pakii calls your book the 'best on the planet' - I agree. It is the most comprehensive, detailed and complete writing on the topic of RSS feed marketing and publishing I've read.
It's nice to see reviews for your e-book come in constantly. Here's the latest, this time from Lee Odden of TopRank: '... the most comprehensive resource for marketing via RSS and blogs ...'
Stephen M. Cohen, a Librarian/Writer/Consultant, and 'the' blogger for librarians, just posted a review of Unleash on his blog ...
One of the first 'full' reviews of the e-book just hit the waves. Are you interested in what the author had to say?
MarketingVOX compares the 'detached, rational tone' of the e-book in cotrast to the 'sales pages' hard sell copy'. Is the "hard sell" really too much and actually decreases the product's value in the eyes of a savvy marketer?
Direct quotes from many of the sources referencing Unleash the Marketing & Publishing Power of RSS. It just makes you love blogs ...
Jim Gray of Quikonnex discusses with his members the quality of most RSS related material on the Web.
Unleash the Marketing & Publishing Power of RSS generated some cool publicity on its first day (and actually some days prior to that, with people beating me to the announcement:). It all came to a climax about 12 hours from now ... And I do love the comments ...
