A now "deceased" website on RSS marketing and RSS publishing - a look at the history of internet marketing

A Note from the Author: The RSS Diary is Closed

rssdiary.marketingstudies.net was built to help marketers get the most from RSS. However, much has changed since the site was last updated in 2007 - and it's pretty fair to say that it's now completely outdated.

Since I've moved on to other interests in internet marketing years ago, the site is now officially closed, and only remains online as an archive of a part of internet marketing's past. This is how we used to see RSS between 2004 - 2007. We don't, anymore, but there's no harm in having a small part of our past available online.

With that, I'm also making the e-book that started all of this, Unleas the Marketing and Publishing Power of RSS, available for free download.

MarketingProfs Expose My 7-Step RSS Marketing Plan

Sometime last week MarketingProfs published an updated version of my 7-Step RSS Marketing Plan article, to promote the Virtual Seminar on RSS I'm doing for them this Thursday. Take a look here.

The amusing part is the online coverage the article is generating:

a] A Great Article on Building RSS into Your Marketing Plan ...
[The Quiet Revolution in Email Marketing]

b] Great RSS Intro Multi-Media
[Marshall Kirkpatrick]

c] Something in Japaneese:)
[ZEN's Extended Brain]

d] RSS Marketing Plan
[Design Channel]

e] Business RSS 101: How Businesses Can Use RSS for Marketing and Communication
[Business Blog Consulting]

f] RSS for Marketers: How to Use RSS for Your Business
[flyte blog]

g] links for 2005-11-13
[Steve Rubel's Micro Persuasion Blog]

h] Marketing With RSS - This Week's Notables
[Pencil Bros. Geology, Inc.]

i] Your 7-Step RSS Marketing Plan
[Permanent Customers]

j] And others ...

Why do I find this amusing?

Because the article is getting coverage from some sources that are highly relevant to my topic, but otherwise never bother to link to my articles:)
