Of course, some will dissagree:) During the course of their program Marqui even seem to have created a new position in the marketing world, a Conversation Coordinator. And they most certainly devised an engenious marketing campaign that spawned dozens and dozens conversations about their product, all generating more publicity and prospects. But were they ready for these conversations? Robin Good, in a recenent interview, seems to believe they were not. "I didn't like the fact that while Marqui wanted to do this badly, its people and infrastructure weren't ready for it. An important lesson for all marketers: regardless of how smart your plan is, if you can't execute it just as well, you fail. Comments
