You are here: Home » The RSS Marketing Diary » RSS Services for End-users » New IE Toolbar-Based RSS Reader Released April 27, 2005 New IE Toolbar-Based RSS Reader Released Byte Scout just released the 2nd edition of their Feed Scout RSS Reader. Feed Scout is actually an IE toolbar-based reader, meaning that it integrates with your Internet Explorer, giving you access to your RSS feeds directly from your browser. One of the more notable features of the reader is its filtering capability, allowing you to filter content items against sets of keywords, which is the first step to a more controlled content consumption experience. A flash demo of the reader is available here [I wish everyone would start doing these, instead of forcing us to download & install to try the software out]. Also, for those not wanting to pay for an RSS reader, they also released a free tuned-down toolbar. Comments
