RSS, Blogging and PR Interview with Sally Falkow, Expansionplus.com

The first interview (yes, the first, so please excuse my interviewing skills, I'm getting better:) is with Sally Falkow of Expansionplus.com.

Sally is a PR expert who, after much exploration, discovered exactly how you can achieve #1 search engine rankings through the use of blogsites (a new kind of blog) and with the help of RSS.

In this interview, she reveals exactly how she did it, along with some crucial PR, press release optimization and blogging tactics.

The results she achieved for one of her clients, using the blogsites principle, are amazing by themselves:

Using this system of a blog and RSS feeds aggregating and syndicating their content, they have increased their Internet footprint and visibility from zero results on the first three pages for any search term to do with business phone system or VoIP to 120 page one results for their key search terms.

The RSS feeds have influenced journalists in this space too. As a result of finding their feeds and their blog, two journalists have interviewed BTI executives and clients for influential online newsletters aimed at CIOs and CFOs ? BTI's perfect target audience.

The traffic to their corporate website has increased by 50% and they are starting to get leads from the Internet.

Although this is still in the early stages, and the resulting increase in content and search results has yet to translate into a significant impact on their bottom line, there is no doubt that it has increased their visibility and brand value.

This case study is explained in full in "Unleash the Marketing and Publishing Power of RSS"

Sally is also doing a PR campaign for "Unleash the Marketing and Publishing Power of RSS" for me, so it was a real pleasure hearing her lay down her PR secrets and insights.

After hearing the interview visit Sally's web sites to get crucial information on press release optimization and internet content strategies: http://falkow.blogsite.com, http://expansionplus.com and http://falkowinc.com

Also, expect a follow-up interview after the e-book PR campaign is finished, to get an update on what tactics Sally used and how they worked.
