Both Amazon and E-bay are taking their RSS features one step further, expanding their e-commerce use.
The only thing I have to wonder - with companies with these many resources, why aren't they doing it faster, more aggressively and more comprehensively?
a] Ebay
Ebay just RSS-enabled their search engine. Have something you're interested in? Do a search and then subscribe to the dynamic RSS feed to get all the latest product results as they become available. It's really what e-commerce RSS is all about --> giving the latest product information in a customized and easy to manage fashion.
Oh, and David Utter picked-up on some of the problems they're already having.
b] Amazon
Amazon now allows you to subscribe to your friends' and family wish lists, letting you know when they've added new products to the list of what they want to get from you:)
