You are here: Home » The RSS Marketing Diary » RSS Services for End-users » Russia is Now RSS Enabled September 5, 2005 Russia is Now RSS Enabled This news comes at great pleasure for me and all marketers trying to establish a presence in one of the largest markets in the world, Russia. Word just got out that their key search engine and portal also offers RSS aggregation to its users, according to the Search Engine Journal. This is a clear sign that RSS in fact will quickly go beyond U.S. borders, although adoption is taking somewhat longer than anticipated. As more and more local search engines and portals start adopting RSS, so will the internet users in those countries. One of the primary drivers of RSS adoption in the U.S. was without doubt the inclussion of RSS aggregation services in to My.Yahoo! With local European portals and search engines doing the same, RSS will finally come to other parts of the world as well. This is certainly something to celebrate.
