A now "deceased" website on RSS marketing and RSS publishing - a look at the history of internet marketing

Rok Hrastnik

A Note from the Author: The RSS Diary is Closed

rssdiary.marketingstudies.net was built to help marketers get the most from RSS. However, much has changed since the site was last updated in 2007 - and it's pretty fair to say that it's now completely outdated.

Since I've moved on to other interests in internet marketing years ago, the site is now officially closed, and only remains online as an archive of a part of internet marketing's past. This is how we used to see RSS between 2004 - 2007. We don't, anymore, but there's no harm in having a small part of our past available online.

With that, I'm also making the e-book that started all of this, Unleas the Marketing and Publishing Power of RSS, available for free download.

Having read a preview copy myself, I can certainly say that this is the ultimate guide for all companies and webmasters looking to achieve market leadership by providing highly focused streams of niche content from all concievable and relevant online content sources.

Those that listened to our interview about a week ago already know how powerful RSS NewsMaster Radars can be; those that haven't listened to the interview yet are invited to do so now. Almost an hour of high-quality content that will get you up to speed on why you need RSS Radars as part of your internet marketing and content strategy.

"This is a 60-plus pages mini-guide providing full guidance to the production process required to create automatically aggregated vertical news feeds, and topic-specific information sites by leveraging the power of RSS.

This new third edition is a complete rewrite of my previous one, which I originally published in 2003. I have doubled the number of pages, the number of tools reviewed, and my introductory section devoted to explain what are the exact steps and strategies required to create a so-called RSS Radar.

This ebook is dedicated to those who wish to ride the RSS wave and create topic-specific custom news feeds as well as to those who wish to create niche, vertical content web sites that showcase always updated information aggregated around vertical topics."

The price of the package went up to $99.95, but it is worth every penny. However, if you bought my "Unleash the Marketing & Publishing Power of RSS" e-book, you can get the RSS NewsMaster Toolkit for only $49.95.
